Weddings at St. Alban's
And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.
– 1 Corinthians 13:13
Your Special Day
When we love someone, we show it in many different ways: by holding hands, giving flowers, exchanging a kiss and by sharing our lives together.
These are all signs of a deeper reality – of our love, affection and commitment to the person we want to be with forever.
We would be delighted to welcome you to St. Alban’s for a wedding, a wedding blessing, or perhaps to renew your wedding vows.
St. Alban's Anglican Church Wilston is a wonderful venue for the celebration of a Marriage and is situated on the edge of the CBD.
The Church, with its beautiful stained glass windows, and its fine timber arched buttress ceiling is the perfect setting for the creation of beautiful memories and gorgeous photographs.
The two small stained glass windows of St George and St. Alban in the sanctuary are the works of William Bustard, a noted Australian artist and stained glassmaker of the first part of the twentieth century.
There is a simple altar of silky oak which comes from the original St. Alban's, a wooden church built in 1914, and makes a perfect setting and a sacred space where a couple can exchange their solemn vows in the presence of family and friends and receive God's blessing on their marriage.
