Church workers are entrusted with the privilege of being servants and leaders in the ministry of the Church. With this privilege comes the associated responsibility to ensure that children and young people in the Church are provided with a safe environment and protected from harm.

 

Our calling by God to share in Christian ministry obliges the Church to take great care in the selection of all workers who are to be entrusted with the care of children and young people. The wider community also rightly expects this.
